Everyone musician has a story and here is mine:
I started playing guitar at age 14 and have been passionate about it ever since. I play every day . Like many of you I started out listening to music and copying licks and chord structures off of recordings. In my day that was a turntable and a cassette deck! After a while , I took formal lessons and learned how to grasp chord and scale concepts , mixed with technique . I had a long way to go but I always enjoyed teaching others and sharing new knowledge with my friends.  Fast forward a few years to my first recording contract with Sire/ Warner Brothers , and few movie sound tracks , tours and performances,  I got back into teaching and continue to teach a hybrid brand of chordal and scale theory . I use many avenues to get there sometimes MIT methods, Berklee Sight reading concepts or simple guitar tab , it is all a method . I use a practical approach and can assist you to reach your goals in a gradual,  well thought out way. Everything is a journey and guitar playing should be fun and fullfilling. Everyone has a dream and I hope I can help with yours if it is learning how to play.
